چکیده
Objective and Background: Decades of research in the field steady-state visual evoked potentials (SSVEPs) have revealed great potential rhythmic light stimulation for brain–computer interfaces. Additionally, provides a non-invasive method entrainment oscillatory activity brain. Especially effective protocols enabling non-perceptible and, thereby, reducing eye fatigue user discomfort are favorable. Here, we investigate effects (1) perceptible (2) as well attention-based by asking participants to focus (a) on source directly an overt attention condition or (b) cross-hair below covert condition. Method: SSVEPs at 10 Hz were with light-emitting diode (LED) driven frequency-modulated signals amplitudes current intensity either above previously estimated individual threshold. Furthermore, explored effect fixate LED indirectly attend it By measuring electroencephalography, analyzed differences between conditions regarding detection reliable via signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) functional connectivity occipito-frontal(-central) regions. Results: We could observe not only but also The SNR SSVEP did differ values all except one participant significance thresholds suggested previous literature indicating responses. No difference be observed Conclusion: finding robust even non-intrusive perceptibility threshold without direct fixation reveals strong safe naturalistic applications.

Perceptible Content Retrieval in DCT Domain and Semi-Fragile Watermarking Technique for Perceptible Content Authentication
Digital watermarking was commenced to copyright protection and ownership verification of multimedia data. However the evolution of the watermark focused on different security aspects of multimedia data such as integrity and authenticity. Fragile and semi-fragile watermarking schemes were introduced to accomplish these requirements. In this paper, we propose semi-fragile watermarking scheme to a...
متن کاملEntrainment of Perceptually Relevant Brain Oscillations by Non-Invasive Rhythmic Stimulation of the Human Brain
The notion of driving brain oscillations by directly stimulating neuronal elements with rhythmic stimulation protocols has become increasingly popular in research on brain rhythms. Induction of brain oscillations in a controlled and functionally meaningful way would likely prove highly beneficial for the study of brain oscillations, and their therapeutic control. We here review conventional and...
متن کاملPerceptible Level Lines and Isoperimetric Ratio
This paper introduces a simple criterion to select the most important level lines from the numerous set obtained with a topographic map. A topographic map gives a morphological and a geometrical representation of the information contained in natural images. Most of level lines are perceptually negligible and may be removed without noticeable distortion. Such curves, which do not carry informati...
متن کاملPerceptible changes in regional precipitation in a future climate
[1] Evidence is strong that the changes observed in the Earth’s globally averaged temperature over the past halfcentury are caused to a large degree by human activities. Efforts to document accompanying precipitation changes in observations have met with limited success, and have been primarily focussed on large-scale regions in order to reduce the relative impact of the natural variability of ...
